Kinetic Research Corporation (KRC) was founded in 1986 by Jim Haughton P.E. to provide environmental testing and dynamic analysis support for Aerospace and Industrial customers. KRC now provides  a variety of testing, engineering and technical support services for the aerospace and industrial communities in the areas of acoustic, vibration, modal analysis, shock and specification of related environments.  The ability to supply expert technical support in a cost effective as-needed framework is a great benefit to our clients. 

Our capabilities are:

  • Modal survey testing and vibration troubleshooting at off site locations using KRC testing resources for aerospace, marine and industrial needs.
  • Noise source identification and imaging services  using state of the art  acoustic beam forming technology.
  • Technical, testing and analytical services for complete spacecraft, science   instruments and payloads, aircraft payloads and ground support  equipment.
  • Consulting services in acoustics, spacecraft launch environments and environmental testing.
  • Environmental test planning
  • Mechanical system design with respect to launch and on-orbit environmental loads
  • Launch vehicle flight environment measurement and analytical prediction

  • Two day seminars on spacecraft test environments, acoustic testing and modal survey testing.


KRC has provided technical services for a large range of customers using NASA GSFC, NASA GRC, the US NAVY, the US Army as well as many private industry customers.

We also support the aerospace community with our participation in the management board of the
Aerospace Testing Seminar and deputy convenor of the International Standards Organization TC20/SC14/WG2 on Spacecraft Interfaces Integration and test.
